The overthinking isn't the problem. It's a smoke signal.

Not sure yet? Keep reading. It'll make sense in a minute.

It looks fine from the outside.

There's a specific kind of stuck that looks fine from the outside. High-performing. Reliable. Put together.

Inside, it's a different story. The same thoughts on repeat. The same decision unmade. Energy spent managing how things feel instead of feeling them.

Planning won't fix it. Neither will more information. The way forward starts where the discomfort is.

Sound familiar?

You're not broken. You're a high-performer running a pattern that used to work. Most of my clients describe some version of these before we start.

  • The same thoughts on repeat, even when you're exhausted
  • Stuck between options, unable to pick any of them
  • Beating yourself up about the same things every week
  • Tired in a way that sleep and vacations don't fix
  • Judging yourself hard, then judging yourself for judging yourself
  • Trying to logic your way out of feelings that won't go away
  • Saying yes to everything, then resenting people for asking
  • Twelve tabs open, three side projects started, nothing finished
  • Can't let others own the decision, even when you know you should

About

Hi, I'm Alex.

Software engineer. Dad. Coach. I work with overthinkers.

I spent 8+ years as a software engineer. Good salary, remote work, total flexibility. I looked productive. Inside, I was running on self-criticism and calling it discipline. Until someone close to me said: “You treat yourself worse than you'd ever treat anyone else.” I had no answer.

So I started paying attention to what I actually felt. Therapy, journaling, hard conversations. The anxiety quieted down. I started building things, putting myself out there, making decisions without the usual three-day argument in my head. My emotions had been telling me what was wrong. I just never paid attention.

I was already having deep conversations with people around me. The kind where someone says “how did you figure that out?” I decided to do it for real. That became coaching 30+ people through the same patterns. Engineers, founders, creatives. People who check every box on paper and still feel stuck.

Questions

What happens in a session?

We talk. I ask questions that help you see what you're too close to notice. I don't give advice. Most of what holds people back is an emotion they've been avoiding. We find it, feel it, and decisions get easier.

How long is a session?

Sessions are 60 minutes. That gives us enough space to go deep without dragging. Some sessions run a few minutes over if we're in the middle of something important.

How many sessions do I need?

There's no fixed package. Some people work with me for a few sessions, some for months. We check in regularly and you decide what makes sense. No contracts, no pressure.

Who is this for?

People who are good at their work but stuck in patterns they can't think their way out of. Engineers, founders, creatives. If your thoughts won't stop looping and your energy is gone, this is probably for you.

How is this different from therapy?

They're complementary, not competing. Therapy often explores the past in depth. Coaching focuses on where you are now and where you want to go. We work on patterns, emotions, and decisions. If I think therapy would serve you better, I'll say so.

What if it doesn't work for me?

We start with a free 30-minute call. No commitment. If it feels like we'd work well together, we go from there. If not, I'll tell you. I'd rather be honest than waste your time.

Let's talk about what's actually going on.

30 minutes. Free. No pitch. Just an honest conversation about where you are.
