When life gets messy, juggling work, family, and personal projects
How I'm learning to love the messy middle of work, parenting, and adulting
Hey there,
Life's been a beautiful mess lately.
I'm sitting here, typing this between baby naps and coffee breaks, trying to figure out how to describe my chaos without making it sound like everything's falling apart.
The Reality Check
Truth is, I'm learning that being a dad to a 3-month-old while running projects, building a coaching business, and moving apartments is... well, interesting.
Whenever I estimate how long something will take, I laugh at my optimism later. At that time, I thought I could write a blog post during a 30-minute nap (spoiler: it took three naps and two late nights).

The Perfection Trap
You know what's funny, though?
I used to think I needed to organise everything perfectly before sharing anything with you. My life needed to look Instagram-ready before hitting "send" on a newsletter.
But here's what I'm discovering: people don't want perfection. They want progress. They want the real story.
Learning Through the Mess
My wife (bless her patience) keeps teaching me this incredible lesson about emotion expression. Being vulnerable is not easy, especially when you feel like you're already taking up too much space. But that's where the growth happens.
Some days, I write content between diaper changes. On other days, I strategize my LinkedIn presence while trying to calm a crying baby. And somehow, in between all of this, I'm learning that this messy middle is precisely where the magic happens.

The Truth About Life
Because maybe that's what life is about. Not having it all figured out, but figuring it out together. Turning chaos into a game, we can all play, learn from, and grow through.
If you're also in your messy middle, juggling responsibilities, questioning your next steps, or feeling overwhelmed by decisions, I want you to know you're not alone.
If this resonates with where you are, I've built something that might help: Mind Design Studio. It's for overthinkers ready to turn chaos into clarity, not with perfect solutions, but with progress that feels authentic to you.
I'd love to hear how the message lands for you if you check it out.
Until next time,
Alex
P.S. If your life feels like a juggling act too, I'd love to hear about it. Hit reply and tell me about your beautiful mess. What's your version of baby-naps-and-coffee-breaks chaos?
